About the Lillian and Larry Goodman Foundations
Since its inception in 1994, the Lillian and Larry Goodman Foundations has dedicated itself to strengthening Jewish life in Chicago, the United States and Israel. In addition, they strive to improve the quality of life in the Chicago metropolitan area by supporting secular organizations that address hunger issues and promote prevention of drug abuse. The Goodman family has always been dedicated to the State of Israel, believing in David Ben-Gurion's vision for development the Negev.
As part of the visionary efforts of the late Lillian and Larry Goodman to build the Negev and Be’er Sheva, in particular, the foundation has funded many organizations and projects:
